You.
I support you.
Here are some links to some other sites that may be of more help than this:

Anne’s Santa Cruz Rainbow Alliance Facebook page (Don’t ask, I don’t know why we have two)

We now meet in Mr. Bank’s room (rm 35). Mr Banks and Mr. Mallory are going to be co-advisors, so Jess, Shea, and I are going to be meeting with Mr Banks on friday at lunch to catch him up.
Last week we write stereotypes on male and female figures (five second drawings s’il te plaît. :P).

Having gone to club congress last thursday at lunch, I gave a bunch of information about club goings on to those who attended. However, attendance was rather poor today.
On top of that information from me, Vanessa came with announcements about GSA events in the community and we continued to watch and discuss the femininity videos (Killing us Softly)

Vanessa came again and we watched + had a discussion on femininity.

NO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES! (Sorta, the speakers were giving interference...) Videos that worked! Go us!
Vanessa came and we watched the rest of the Disney Masculinity video as well as the Intersex video. We had a (kinda gimpy) discussion about intersex afterwords.
Next week we’ll be talking about feminism (and I need to find that Dove makeover video...)

We actually had computers WORK today! (for the most part, we had to stop half way through the second video because the picture didn’t change with the sound...)
Anyway, Vanessa came yet again, and we had a discussion about Masculinity lead by Shea’s discussion questions.
I also got some flyers for Y.E.S. (can’t remember what it stands for offhand). I’m going to announce/talk about it next week and get requests for copies of the fliers (I only got one of each flyer. >.> )

Today Vanessa came again to show us the videos, but we had more techincal difficulties with rendering. We’ll render in advance next week and it will be good. :P

Ack, sorry about not getting around to update this in a while... some fun stuff has happened:
On the 5th of October, Vanessa from STRANGE came to talk for a while. Also, it came to news that something was planned for friday in the quad for National Coming Out Week.
On the 7th of October, we (sorta) met after school to plan for friday, turns out Anne had /planned/ it.
On the 9th of October, we met in the quad for National Coming Out Week. I wouldn’t say it was a failure, but it definitely could have gone better.
On the 12th of October, we had some serious technical difficulties with the youtube videos Vanessa sent me. We will continue them next week.

Meeting on monday (the 28th) went. Not sure if it went well or not, but it went. Jess had a great list of stuff to cover (that I added to), lots of people showed up, and there were cookies. Also, Jack Mallory suggested that I look up this link and post it. It is titled “Coming Out In Middle School” and was published in the New York Times Magazine Sunday Edition.(And no, I haven’t gotten a chance to read it yet. >.>)

Also, now we apparently have two facebook pages for some reason. I’m looking into why, and how to make it so we only have one.

Club day was today, we got a TON of people to sign up. I hope at least some of them show up to meetings! :)

I, the one writing this, am currently the co-president of the Rainbow Alliance club at Santa Cruz High School. I intend to use this site for that club (updates, important news, who should bring what, et cetera), but I also intend to keep this site up and active so I can use it as a resource for others even after I graduate.
A Warm Welcome
